Alyssa saw the beach / ocean for the first time!:) It was awesome! We only stuck our feet in because we didn’t wear our swim suits, or bring any towels! We did collect some sea shells and after going to a store to grab a tshirt for our tshirt quilt, Chris went back to the beach and put sand in the jar we had bought!
We first saw the ocean when we went up to the top of the Tybee Island lighthouse… It was REALLY high up, but REALLY awesome! It was cool though because you could literally see forever out in the ocean.
Tybee Island was a must see when we came through, because in the movie “The Last Song” .. The beach they are at is Tybee Island. It has those cool sand dunes and fences, which is mainly why we went!
We have two more beaches on our list, St. Augustine and Miami, FL! We will be collecting sea shells and sand from those two as well!:)
Right now, we are headed to the downtown historical district of Savannah to go on our private carriage ride, I have started to love the dangling trees they have over their streets, it’s beautiful!
